3D Revelator

Game Use Simply put, every game we tested worked flawlessly. Not only that, the Revelator had no problems running in high-resolution graphics modes. And with the high-speed shutters, it was nearly impossible to tell that you were looking through anything other than an ordinary pair of glasses. In other words, they were flicker free. However, in order to experience the 3D Revelator to its fullest, you'll need a monitor that supports a refresh rate of at least 100 Hz -- preferably 120. Otherwise, you'll be able to see the shutters flicker, which will invariably end up causing a headache, eyestrain, or both. It's not often that we can sit back and stare in awe at games we play every day. But the 3D Revelator has the innate ability to change the ordinary into extraordinary. The 3D effect created in Half-Life was a truly humbling experience. Even though the game is already amazing, the Revelator gave it an entirely new and different feel altogether. Itching to burn a little rubber, we tried an array of racing games. Needless to say, we were treated with a splendiferous display of 3D imagery -- cars barreled towards us, tire smoke filled the room, and chunks of dirt and grass went everywhere. For the sake of brevity, we'll cut to the chase: the 3D Revelator is something any respectable gamer should own. Documentation Since 3D glasses require all of the intelligence of a chimp to install, the documentation outlining the process doesn't have to be very in-depth. Such is the case with the 3D Revelator. The only problem people may have is setting up the software to work correctly, and Elsa has done a fine job of addressing this in the manual. Step by step instructions show how to install the Revelator software, set the refresh rate (determines how fast the glasses flicker), control the 3D stereo effect, and various other things you may or may not need to know.
