INTRODUCTION
Sun Microsystems…. Prepare to die! Ruthless.com is a TBS. (Turn based Strategy) in which
you create your own Computer business. You start off as a pioneer in the computer industry
and start with research and development and make a product with advances you start buying
out competition. Soon you are the Powerhouse with any competition being bought out upon
arrival. But beware as you start to real you get hit with a virus that destroys your company until
it is found or you CEO gets Kidnapped.
GRAPHICS
The Graphics of Ruthless.com remind me of Simcity. The graphics during game play are
very plain … auuu ahhh's are only caused by little moments of when you put up a Firewall to
protect you from Virus. Some Leonard looking pictures of people are available but they look
like some Mug shots of Americans most wanted.

INTERFACE.
The interface of Ruthless.com is very easy to control. It's a simple point and click type of
game. One menu leads to another so simplicity around the game is very easy. It is easy to
change the Look of your building which might look like some thing out of 2001 a space
odyssey. The interface is very easy to get around. Everything is mousing controlled and the
controls are intuitive.

GAMEPLAY
Like I said earlier the game play is kind of like Simcity except it is turn based. You start off
with a company with a CEO (far from bill gates). At first you need to get some R&D (research
and development). Next you need to get a product…. You have to get it research for it to be
developed. You only get about 2 turns unless you hire another CEO for another building that
gets 2 turns also. Competition starts to appear and your market share starts to drop down
…unless they accept the buy out. Quality is a big factor in the game, as your product will not sell if your
product has many bugs in it (humm kind of like Netscape with out Microsoft Active X). As you
make a Q/A labs to make your product quality better you might want to establish a patent for
your certain product as Copyright infringement might come up in the court of law. Your
opponent might want to Sue you out of business (humm sounds like a jealous company like
Sun Microsystems). You can do many things you're your opponents as they can do the same
to you. You can hit your opponents with a virus that keeps multiplying on each turn till the
person does virus scan. Hit them with a lawsuit, or better yet just kidnap the CEO and stop
every thing in their company. Or why not become one of those fanatics (shooting at the
Microsoft building a few months ago) and destroy a building.

AUDIO
To put is simply…the Audio sucks! You find you're self-playing to something that would be out
of Atari… heck Atari would be better in my book. The only reason I gave it a point is because
it did have some Audio…better then having none.

DIFFICULTY
This game is for the true crier…If they want to be easy it will be. No thing can go wrong if you
have it on easy. As you approached intermediate you might get hit by a virus or a lawsuit by
your biggest competition, but over all money starts to become the big problem. People seem
not to want to buy your old products so releasing the source code might help and coming out
with a better product. Play the game on Hard is very difficult …every company starts out fast.
Many viruses hit you and CEO kidnappings start. Your main building with your R&D might get
blown up. You can start a Anti Lawsuit campaign against companies you think might hit you
with one. Heck if you are too lazy to do that you can buy a defense…. Don't expect Jonney
Cochrin to do his little if it don't fit you got to aqeit thing. When I played I had to pay about
$50,000 to a company for bad business practices. If you don't got the money well your
departments start to get sold. Usually it is the one with the lowest income. And if all your stuff
gets sold …the main building with the head quarter's declare bankruptcy and you get what
your company is worth to start over. If you think it is still too easy …I recommend going to the
Internet gaming zone and playing in Multiplayer. See how well go upagainst real people when
they start to infects your computer core with viruses and kidnapping your CEO. For revenge
you might do the sane back to them or you could juts blow up their building or you might just
give them a lawsuit from your law department or ask a fellow person to hit them with a lawsuit
for some of your money or some product ideas.

OVERALL
Well this game comes right above the 50 mark and I give it a do not buy/give it as a gift to
some one you dislikes. The game lacks heavily in many places one being Graphics and in
sound and control. Sure the thought of being like Bill Gates and buying out your competition
might appeals to a few fanatics. But if you're looking for mass control on products and other
game structures look to some other place.
